History of the Sculpture
The Age of Bronze is a bronze statue by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin.

Rodin continued to produce casts of the statue for several decades after it was modelled in 1876. Therefore The original Naked Man from Rodin was a Bronze Statue. A life size example and first exhibited in Paris in 1877. Rodin was falsely accused of having made it by casting a living model.
He vigorously denied the charge, although the controversy benefited him. Members of the public were so eager to see his work and decide for themselves.
