One of Avant Garden's stunning bronze statues was featured as a centerpiece of a powerful memorial garden unveiling earlier in May. The Baby Memorial Garden at Blacon Crematorium in Chester was welcomed by the Lord Mayor of Chester, Cllr Angela Claydon and the Rt Rev Dr Peter Forster, Bishop of Chester, revealing our fine cast bronze Dolphins statue. The day was met with a reflective poetry reading called 'Dancing with Dolphins' and a reverential service.
Mrs P.M. Daniels MBE got in contact with Avant Garden last year, wanting to find something special to compliment the memorial setting in the appropriate way, and with our collaboration together, we helped decide upon a fitting sculpture to really compliment and accentuate the look and meaning of the memorial garden. Everyone came to the agreement that the dolphins had a symbolic significance that reflected a playful child-like innocence, with the statues looking up towards the heavens.
Standing almost 7 feet tall, our iconic dolphin statue has a natural grace and elegance that truly lends itself to the Baby Memorial Garden.
Following the success of the service, Mrs Daniels got in contact with Avant Garden, expressing her delight with our sculpture, saying: "we trust that this garden will continue to give peace and solace to all who visit."
